Oscars Flashback: Amy Adams Appreciation

Sure, I appreciate the Oscars. But on Sunday I’ll be appreciating Amy Adams a whole lot more.

SHE’S BRAVE!
Best Actress Oscars nominee Amy Adams in a Fred Leighton sapphire, ruby, emerald and diamond necklace in the Cartier Tutti Frutti style 2009
At the 2009 Oscars Amy wore this Fred Leighton masterpiece, showcasing carved sapphires, emeralds and rubies, plus diamonds, of course. Despite being essentially wonderful and inspired by Cartier’s Tutti Frutti era of decadence, exoticism and pure awesome, this necklace isn’t universally loved. BOO. Our girl Amy was brave and bold and totally werked this statement piece.

SHE’S A WINNER!

No, she didn’t win the Best Supporting Actress Oscar back in 2011, but she did wear over 1.3 million dollars of Cartier Haute Joaillerie and that, ladies and gents, makes her a winner in my book. Love, love love.

SHE’S A PRINCESS!

1 million dollars of straight up princess. I got love for Kate Middleton, but Amy in Mouawad and Oscar de la Renta is all I need.

Which Amy Oscars look is your to-die-for?

Come back on Sunday for more pre-Oscars sparkly fun!
